			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This year’s <a title="Great American Living Awards" href="http://www.greatamericanlivingawards.com/" target="_blank">GALA</a> winners got a special treat in addition to their award—they earned a spot in the January issue of <a title="Home and Design Magazine" href="http://www.homeanddesign.com/" target="_blank">Home and Design Magazine</a>.</p>
<p>The <a title="The 2011 GALA Awards, Home &amp; Design Magazine" href="http://www.homeanddesign.com/article.asp?article=21252&amp;paper=97&amp;cat=177" target="_blank">article</a> highlights the design and architecture award recipients and includes photos of award-winning properties.</p>
<p>In total, there were more than <a title="GALA Winners" href="http://www.greatamericanlivingawards.com/winners/" target="_blank">150 awards</a> given in 90 different categories at our October 27<sup>th</sup> event held at the Sheraton Premiere in Tysons Corner, Virginia.</p>
<p>Jane Lyons, a principal of <a title="Lyons &amp; Sucher Advertising" href="http://lyonsandsucher.com/" target="_blank">Lyons &amp; Sucher Advertising</a> and longtime member of GALA’s planning committee, said, “The GALA program is the most prestigious residential design, sales and marketing competition in the metropolitan Washington Market. … To win a GALA is considered the ‘Best of the Best.’”</p>
