Entry Forms

Eligibility Timeframe:

  • All Entries must have been available for sale, rental, sold, or viewed by 6/22/12.
  • Entries in Marketing Categories 12 - 22 must have been available to the public between 6/30/11 - 6/22/12.
  • Sales Achievement Entries in Categories 5 - 10 are for the period 6/30/11 - 6/22/12.

Entry Submission Options:

  1. Fill out the appropriate online form per entry.
  2. Pay online or mail check to NVBIA, 3901 Centerview Drive, Suite E Chantilly, VA 20151.
  3. Entry fees are non-refundable.
  4. Completed Online Entry Forms, Fees, and Photos must be at the NVBIA office absolutely NO later than Friday, June 29, 2012.
  5. SEND TO: NVBIA/GALA, 3901 Centerview Drive, Suite E, Chantilly, VA 20151

Photo Information:

The following are requirements for all photos submitted for the GALA competition:

  • PHOTOS MUST BE AT LEAST 7" WIDE X 5.25" TALL AND AT LEAST 96 DPI, SAVED AS A WINDOWS .JPG FILE.
  • Labeled with builder name, category and subcategory, community name, model name (if applicable).
  • CD must be submitted by Monday, June 22, 2012.
  • Photos must be submitted with a Photo Release to be found on Entry Forms.
  • Winning entry photos will be used at Awards reception and posted on the website.

Design & Architecture must submit supporting information:

Supply information requested below via PDF or JPG (either electronically with online entry form, or printed copies attached to printed entry form submitted via mail):

  1. Site Plan - such as a plat, photo or graphic illustration showing relationship of unit to site (PDF format)
  2. Photos:
    • 2 interior and 2 exterior photos, professional renderings or portraits of submitted entry* (JPG format)
    • Photo for completed Outstanding Living Space or Architectural Feature in a new home or remodeled home (Category 44) (JPG format)
  3. List of Standard Features and Options included in this entry* (PDF format)
  4. Floor Plan - showing room dimensions* (PDF format)
  5. Project Statement - In 75 words or less, explain the major design and planning objectives of this entry and why you think it deserves an award in the category entered. (PDF format)

*as applicable to each individual category

Community of the Year Entries must submit:
